Climatologist Chernokulsky explained how Moscow's climate will change: more thaws, downpours and heat waves
Deputy Director of the RAS A. M. Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics Alexander Chernokulsky warned that winters in Moscow over the next 10–20 years will become slushier, and heat waves will become more frequent in summer. At the same time, severe frosts and snowfalls will not disappear entirely, and black ice caused by alternating thaws and freezes will become more common.
