Germany's gas storage facilities fell below 60% in early November for the first time
According to Gazprom, based on Gas Infrastructure Europe statistics, on November 6 gas withdrawals from European storage facilities set a record for that date, and the fill level of Germany's storage facilities — the country with the largest storage capacity in the EU — fell below 60%. At the start of the withdrawal season on October 28, the storage facilities were 74.9% full — the lowest level on record.
