Auto expert urged drivers to urgently switch from summer to winter tires due to black ice
After a yellow level of weather danger was declared in Moscow and the region, Anton Shaparin, vice-president of the National Automobile Union, advised drivers to immediately change their summer tires to winter ones — during the day and at the nearest tire shop, or, if that is not possible, to switch to public transport. Forecasters predict a cold snap to below-freezing temperatures and black ice.
