FIFA proposes $6.35 billion football development fund amid scrutiny of Infantino
FIFA President Gianni Infantino sent a proposal on September 28 to the heads of six confederations for a four-year development fund of $6.35 billion (€5.5 billion): each of the 211 associations would receive $25 million. The plan is to be finalized by the FIFA Council in December and approved at the congress in March. The proposal came amid UEFA's preparation of a criminal complaint against Infantino and the upcoming presidential election on March 18 in Rabat.
