The rally itself took place on October 31. According to Interior Ministry data cited by Life.ru, the protests drew about 320,000 participants across the country, including 70,000 in Paris. The organizers estimate the scale as significantly higher: according to calculations by the association of student and youth trade unions, nearly 500,000 people protested across the country, and about 200,000 in the capital.
