On November 2, the president of Uzbekistan held a meeting on labor migration. The discussion covered attracting international recruiting companies, transferring technical colleges to businesses, and training personnel according to the needs of employers both within the country and abroad.
Otabek YusupovAt a meeting on labor migration, Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed that from 2027 the sending of citizens abroad for work be fully transferred to reliable private employment agencies, with a payment of 1.5 million soums for each person employed in a high-paying job. Tax incentives for entrepreneurs who train personnel and the transfer of technical colleges to business management were also announced.

Of 45,000 requests from Germany, only 2,000 people were employed — the main reason being a lack of German language skills. It was ordered to open migration centers in all regions in 2027, allocate 8 billion soums each, train 10,000 people and recruit 500 native speakers.
