During October archaeological work in the Nurata Range on the territory of the Koshrabad district of the Samarkand region, petroglyphs from the Mesolithic and Neolithic were discovered, as well as a Bronze Age settlement with a cultural layer 60 cm thick. This was reported by the Yahyo Gulyamov Samarkand Institute of Archaeology.
Otabek YusupovThe international Arabiancairns project, funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), has been documenting protohistoric funerary monuments on the Arabian Peninsula since 2022. In the Bisyah area of central Oman, about 5,500 tombs have been mapped over an area of 4,700 sq. km. Madina UsmonovaArchaeologists have discovered the remains of a Bronze Age shipwreck off the coast of Turkey. The vessel is between 4,400 and 4,700 years old and was built around the same time as the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
