The key facts

  • Mytour placed Russia 1st out of 20 countries; followed by Venezuela, India, Argentina, and Serbia.
  • In May 2026, World Population Review ranked Russia 4th, naming Colombia the leader.
  • The compilers cited a combination of European and Asian features, eye color, skin, and body proportions.

Russia takes first place in a new ranking

Russia has taken first place in the ranking of countries with the most beautiful women. The list of 20 countries was compiled by the travel platform Mytour, and its results were published by the outlet Wasted on social media, reports Life.ru. The compilers noted a combination of European and Asian features in the appearance of Russian women, and also drew attention to eye color, skin characteristics, and body proportions.

Who made the top ten

The authors of the list placed Russian women above representatives of 19 other countries. Second place went to Venezuela, third to India. Argentina and Serbia also made the top five. They were followed by Sweden, Colombia, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. The United States came in 11th place, the United Kingdom 13th, Australia 15th, and Ukraine closed out the list.

The previous ranking offered a different order

This is not the only such list to appear recently: according to the analytical portal World Population Review, published in May, Russia ranked only fourth — Colombia was the leader then, followed by Poland and Greece, with the Czech Republic rounding out the top five. In preparing that list, the authors used materials from 2025, including the results of beauty pageants and online user voting. Thus, the two rankings differ not only in Russia's position but also in the composition of the leaders: Colombia, first in the World Population Review ranking, is only seventh in the Mytour list.

Reaction

Producer Iosif Prigozhin publicly disagreed with the results of the May ranking: in his words, women from Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine deserve places in the top three, and he called Russian women the most beautiful.
