What this means for the Grand Prix Final
The victory in China significantly strengthens Mishina and Galliamov's position in the fight for a spot in the series final. According to Gazeta.Ru's assessment, even a third-place finish at the next stage in Finland, which will take place from November 20 to 22, would very likely be enough for the pair. Earlier at the same stage, Alexandra Trusova landed a quadruple lutz and also took second place.
