Power outages have begun in Dnipro after new strikes on energy infrastructure facilities. Ukrainian media report this, citing local authorities. According to the regional military administration (OVA), about 60,000 subscribers remain without electricity; the outages are linked to damage to energy facilities, and electricity supply restrictions remain in place in the region. Context: Kyiv and previous outages

This is not the first time Dnipro region has faced large-scale electricity problems: after previous strikes, energy workers had to carry out emergency repair work, and emergency blackouts were introduced in the city itself due to overloading of the power grid. At the same time, the situation worsened in Kyiv: the mayor, Vitali Klitschko, acknowledged that the city's electricity supply situation is extremely difficult — power outages disrupted heating and water supply. On the same day, November 7, the Russian Defense Ministry announced it had struck the Trypilska thermal power plant with a capacity of 1,800 MW and the 750 kV Kyivska high-voltage substation. The Ukrainian energy company DTEK introduced emergency blackouts in Kyiv region, and local channels reported suspensions of service on two lines of the capital's metro. Also in the Rada, it was suggested that Kyiv could receive electricity for only 2 hours a day in winter.
