What happened

The wife of a SVO participant was forced to transfer an apartment in Khabarovsk to other people — this is reported by the Regnum news agency. According to the outlet, the apartment originally belonged to Olga's grandmother, who gifted it to her granddaughter; the woman herself received the home as a gift from the girl's step-grandfather and was the sole owner.

Pressure and the deal

A few months after the gift, a man named Yegor came to Olga, introducing himself as a realtor: he claimed to own half of the apartment and offered to buy out her share for 1.5 million rubles, with the total value of the home being 5.5 million. The young woman asked to postpone the conversation — the family was planning a trip to the sea. Later she married Yuri, who went to the SVO, and Yegor temporarily stopped appearing. Then, when Olga was home alone, there was a knock at the apartment: behind the door were Yegor and two men who, according to the owner, threatened her with violence and rape. The outlet quotes their words, including those addressed to her husband: “Where is your husband, that half-finished SVO fighter?! Now we're going to finish him off”. That same day, the young woman's passport and keys were taken away; later she was driven to process documents, and at the MFC she signed the papers. As it turned out, Yegor had bought a share from the heir of Olga's grandfather.

What is happening now

Olga received the apartment sale documents only a month later, and, according to the outlet, they contained many inconsistencies. She told her husband about what had happened while he was in the SVO zone. According to Yuri, their police report was accepted only on the third attempt. In addition to contacting the relevant authorities, the couple filed a lawsuit seeking to have the deal declared invalid. The publication does not report the outcome of the lawsuit or the review of the police report.
