Five new foreign agents

On November 6, 2026, the Russian Ministry of Justice added the poet and feminist activist Galina Rymbu to the registry of foreign agents, according to the ministry's website. At the same time, the registry also included theater director Leda Garina, Circassian journalist Murat Temirov, activist Nikolai Rodkin, and economics columnist Boris Grozovsky — all of them have been designated as foreign agents in Russia.

The grounds, according to the Ministry of Justice

According to the ministry, Rymbu spread false information about decisions of the Russian authorities, spoke out against the special military operation in Ukraine, and took part in creating and distributing materials by foreign agents and undesirable organizations. These wording items are cited in a Gazeta.Ru publication referencing the Ministry of Justice; the registry of foreign agents itself is posted on the ministry's website.

Who is Galina Rymbu

Rymbu, 36, was born in Omsk, graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute, and left Russia in 2018. She became widely known in 2020 after publishing the poem 'My Vagina,' written in support of an artist accused of distributing pornography over drawings of female genitalia.

Context: recent additions to the registry

Rymbu's designation continues a series of recent decisions by the Ministry of Justice. Earlier, the ministry designated 19-year-old singer Diana Loginova as a foreign agent, known by the stage name Naoko and performing in the band Stoptime. Members of the group, who performed songs by artists designated as foreign agents on the street, were detained on October 15, 2025; after her release from the temporary detention facility, Naoko left Russia. In addition, the Ministry of Justice previously revealed how many foreign agents had filed their reports online.
