Network expansion and memorandum with the agency

The Ozon marketplace intends to double its network of order pickup points across Uzbekistan by the end of 2027. The company's press service told Spot about this. The announcement was made against the backdrop of the first COME ON Forum for entrepreneurs, held on November 3 in Tashkent.

The 'Made in Uzbekistan' showcase

At the forum, Ozon presented a 'Made in Uzbekistan' showcase featuring products from local manufacturers. It is intended to help buyers in Uzbekistan and Russia find products from Uzbek brands. Entrepreneurs whose production facilities are located in the republic can join the project.

Support for the light industry

During the event, Ozon signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers. The document was signed by the agency's First Deputy Director Bakhtiyor Mukhammadsaidov and Ozon's head for CIS countries Natalia Boer. The parties plan to help manufacturers of textiles, clothing, knitwear, leather goods and footwear promote their products in the markets of Uzbekistan and Russia. Entrepreneurs will be offered free training, joint advertising and personal managers.

Performance in the Uzbekistan market

Ozon entered the Uzbekistan market in 2023. According to the company, in 2025 the marketplace's turnover in the republic grew almost fourfold compared to the previous year, while the number of active buyers increased almost 3.5-fold. In the first ten months of 2026, the turnover of sellers from Uzbekistan on the platform grew almost fivefold year on year. In June, Ozon had already signed a memorandum with the Uzeltechsanoat association to support Uzbek manufacturers of electronics and home appliances entering the platform. Thus, the agreement with the light industry agency continues the line of attracting local manufacturers: an earlier similar agreement concerned electronics, and now it covers textiles and footwear.
