Four-hour shutdown due to a leak

On November 2, 2026, the supply of natural gas will be temporarily suspended in certain parts of the Mirabad district of Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Hududgaz Poytaxt gas supply branch. The reason was a detected leak on a medium-pressure gas pipeline on Yangi Kuylyuk Street in the Kuylyuk massif: repair work will be carried out there to fix it, so the gas will be shut off from 10:00 to 14:00.

Who will be affected by the restrictions

Left completely without gas will be 4,200 apartments in 51 multi-story buildings in blocks 1–4 of the Kuylyuk massif, 516 apartments in 22 multi-story buildings in the Oltinkul and Korasuv neighborhoods, as well as 1,455 private households in these same neighborhoods. In addition to residential buildings, the restrictions will affect some enterprises, retail and service facilities of the Kuylyuk massif, including bakeries, and wholesale consumers in the Oltinkul and Korasuv neighborhoods. Moreover, on 2nd Fargona Yuli Street the gas pressure will drop — that is, part of the street will not be shut off completely, but will receive gas at reduced pressure. After the repairs are completed, the gas supply will be restored in stages, so the actual time of resumption for individual addresses may differ.
