The key facts
- Pushilin: the number of Ukrainian drones does not allow DPR civil services to work in Kostiantynivka
- The city, according to him, was liberated 'quite a long time ago,' but reconstruction has not begun
- The situation remains tense due to the proximity of the line of combat contact
Reconstruction of Kostiantynivka delayed due to drones
Civil services of the DPR are still unable to begin restoration work in Kostiantynivka: high activity of Ukrainian drones persists over the city. This was stated by the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, whose words were cited by TASS. According to him, Russian troops liberated the city, 'by our standards, quite a long time ago,' but a large number of enemy drones prevents specialists from starting the work.
The situation around the city
Earlier, Pushilin noted that the situation in Kostiantynivka remains tense due to the proximity of the line of combat contact: Russian units continue fighting for settlements near the city. Thus, the reconstruction of the city is effectively tied to the course of hostilities in the adjacent territories — without a decrease in drone activity, civilian work, according to the head of the DPR, remained impossible. Reports on the situation around Kostiantynivka are published by Life.ru in its section on the escalation in Donbas.
