A post marking the anniversary of the tragedy
Entrepreneur Oleg Vinnik, who lost his wife and two children in the plane crash over the Sinai Peninsula, published a memorial post on Instagram (Meta, the company that owns Instagram, has been designated as extremist and banned in Russia). This was reported by Gazeta.Ru. According to Vinnik, October 31, 2025 was the day his life split into 'before' and 'after,' but he had to learn to live with what happened.
'Time does not heal'
'Time does not heal, but it teaches you to live with this loss. Life goes on as usual; I have learned to cope with the nights, but this date always brings me back to Marianna, Alexei and Mitenka,' Vinnik wrote, addressing his late wife and children. He added that he regularly receives notifications that the investigation into the crash is continuing, and ended the post with the words: 'I go on living; I have the strength to walk through life, but you will remain in my heart forever. You are my guardian angels, giving me that strength.'
Life after the tragedy
The outlet also notes that after the death of his family, Vinnik remarried a flight attendant named Anna, and a son, Artemy, was born from the marriage; the couple is now divorced. The publication gives no details about the investigation — its progress, results or prospects; the only information available, according to Vinnik himself, is about the regular notifications.
