The key facts
- The US — 2,485 aircraft delivered in 2025, France — 960, Austria — 235, Brazil — 233
- Airbus delivered 793 aircraft against Boeing's 600
- The calculation includes not only mainline airliners but also general aviation, business jets and regional aircraft
Who delivered what and how much in 2025
Kun.uz, citing an infographic published on Reddit, reported on a ranking of countries by the number of civil aircraft delivered based on the results of 2025. The authors of the calculations counted not assembled aircraft but those actually handed over to customers, and included not only large passenger airliners but also general aviation aircraft, business jets, small turboprops and regional aircraft.
The United States by a wide margin
First place went to the United States: 2,485 aircraft, a figure made up not only of Boeing's results (600 aircraft) but also of output from Cirrus (797), Textron Aviation (639), Piper (291) and Gulfstream (158). Between the two largest airliner manufacturers, Airbus is ahead — 793 aircraft versus 600 for Boeing.
France, Austria, Brazil
France is in second place with 960 aircraft: 793 from Airbus, 76 from Daher, 37 from Dassault, 32 from ATR and 22 from Elixir. Third place went to Austria thanks to 235 aircraft from Diamond Aircraft, which produces mostly general aviation aircraft and motor gliders. Brazil, with 233 aircraft, is fourth: 78 come from Embraer's commercial division and 155 from its Embraer Executive Jets unit, which makes business jets.
An important caveat about the methodology
Kun.uz draws attention to a significant methodological flaw in the ranking: the authors attributed all Airbus aircraft to France, even though the company produces them in other countries as well. Therefore, as the outlet notes, the list cannot be taken as statistics that fully reflect the territory of which country each aircraft was actually assembled in. The outlet does not present the full list in its entirety — the text of the publication breaks off at the mention of Italy in fifth place, without giving its final figure.
