Auction results
On October 26, the E-auksion platform hosted an auction for the sale of the building of the Republican Center of Aerogeodesy under the Cadastre Agency, located in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent. Two bidders took part; 35 bids were made over two hours, and the winner was Utkir Shop, which offered 213.09 billion soums — 35% above the starting price of 157.84 billion soums. This was reported by Spot.uz and UzNews.uz.
What exactly was sold
The property is located along Khalkabad Street in the Buyuk Turon mahalla, not far from the Minor metro station. It comprises two buildings of three and four stories, connected by a covered gallery, as well as auxiliary annexes. The total floor area is 9,975 square meters, and all utilities — water, gas, sewage and electricity — are connected. According to the lot listing on E-auksion, the area of the land plot in joint use is 1.3 hectares, while the area of the share in the plot is 1.1 hectares.
Privatization context and transfer terms
The Agency for State Assets Management put the property up for auction at the end of September in accordance with the August presidential decree (UP-177) on new mechanisms for privatizing state property. Under the terms of the deal, the aerogeodesy center will retain the right to use the building free of charge for a year, after which the property will be handed over to the buyer — meaning the sale does not yet imply an immediate relocation for the agency itself.
Who is the buyer
According to open-source datacited by Spot.uz and UzNews.uz, Utkir Shop was established in February 2023 in the Samarkand region and was engaged in the wholesale trade of furniture, household goods, hardware and metal products; its charter capital was 20 million soums, and its sole founder was listed as Utkir Bahodir ugli Kholmatov. Spot.uz additionally notes citing the Unified State Register of Enterprises, that a firm called Bello Plaza, engaged in construction, is now registered under the same tax ID and at the same legal address, also with a charter capital of 20 million soums and founder Abbos Kamoliddin ugli Sadriddinov. Thus, the company's profile at the time of purchase diverges from its previous activity; the buyer's final plans for using the property are not disclosed in the publications.
