The next day, September 5, the pole broke at the base and crushed the leg of his father, who had gone outside.
Consequences for the victim

At the city hospital, the man's right leg was amputated. The victim's son stated that three months have passed since the incident, the family is treating the father at home, and the responsible organizations have never once inquired about his condition.
Who installed the pole
According to Sherzod Rakhimov, head of the So'kh district power grid administration (TETK), the pole that broke was produced and installed by a private enterprise. According to Kun.uz, the concrete pole was produced by the private company 'Solikhakhon Saidakhon' in the So'kh district, and it was installed in the mahalla by the JV 'Sokh trans dunyo jahon' under the leadership of Davlatjon Bobomansurov.
Not the first incident
Kun.uz notes that this is not the first incident in the district related to the fall of a substandard pole, and that the occurring cases raise questions about the quality of the concrete mix used in their production.
