Volvo registers the Volvo Penta brand in Russia
Swedish Volvo Trademark Holding AB has registered the Volvo Penta trademark in Russia — the brand of the group's subsidiary that produces marine and industrial engines. The exclusive rights are valid until December 2035. Official deliveries of the brand to Russia were discontinued in 2022, and components arrive via parallel imports.
