For Uzbek Language Day (October 21), language popularizer and children's book author Saida Rashidova, in a column for Gazeta.uz, outlined her vision of how scientifically grounded, playful, and inclusive children's books can strengthen the position of the Uzbek language among children in Uzbekistan and abroad.
Javlon TursunovPresident of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 21 congratulated the people on Uzbek Language Day. In his congratulation he addressed issues of the quality of education, clarity of official documents, the development of science and terminology in the Uzbek language, the use of the language in the digital environment, and the role of artificial intelligence. Also on this day, according to Gazeta.uz, the president signed a law on improving the Uzbek alphabet based on the Latin script.
