Money transfers to Uzbekistan exceeded $15 billion in nine months, but growth slowed
From January to September 2026, $15.16 billion in remittances arrived in Uzbekistan — 8.9% more than a year earlier. Growth slowed: in the first half of the year it stood at 13%, while in the third quarter it was only 2.9%. Outgoing remittances rose to $1.95 billion, and the balance reached $13.21 billion.
