Moldova's Prime Minister allowed for unification with Romania but admitted society is not ready
Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan stated that unification with Romania is not a «plan B» but part of «plan A» — the country's accession to the EU. He acknowledged that the majority of citizens do not yet support such an idea. Earlier, Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi spoke of a unification process that had in fact already begun, while President Maia Sandu called it a way to strengthen security.
