In Stavropol, a woman with two uteruses gave birth to two healthy girls

At the Stavropol Regional Clinical Perinatal Center, a woman with a completely doubled uterus carried and gave birth to twins — each girl developed in a separate organ. The pregnancy was complicated by the risk of preterm labor and preeclampsia; the babies were delivered at the 34th week by cesarean section with two separate incisions. The mother and the newborns have been discharged.
