Infectious disease physician Andrey Pozdnyakov said that the drug-resistant tuberculosis strain EurA1.1 can be contracted in any crowded place, including public transport, but the probability of infection on the metro is low. The strain is resistant to first- and second-line drugs, yet it does not have increased pathogenicity, and the specialist called the panic groundless.
