France taps strategic diesel reserves — pump prices are going down
In mid-October, the French government announced the release of 10 million barrels of diesel from strategic reserves, purchased before the war in the Middle East, at 0.28 euros per liter. By October 31, the TotalEnergies, E. Leclerc and Coopérative U networks announced fuel price reductions.
