Psychologist explains Russians' renewed interest in Tetris and Tamagotchi
Child and adolescent psychologist Ilya Slobodchikov linked the growing demand for retro toys to the cyclical nature of fashion. According to an Avito study, sales of the Sega Drive 2 Classic console tripled over the year, while demand for Game Boy, Tetris and Tamagotchi grew by more than 50%.
