Russia hands over to China a suspect in the embezzlement of billions of yuan from depositors
Russia has extradited to the PRC a businessman who, according to the Chinese investigation, embezzled depositors' funds amounting to several billion yuan between 2018 and 2024. He was detained in Tatarstan about a year ago, and the handover took place at Sheremetyevo. Separately, an extradition from Serbia is reported in the case of a drug laboratory in Voronezh.
