'The Cotton Man': Kun.uz explains why Khrushchev moved Yusupov from minister to sovkhoz director
The outlet Kun.uz published a piece about Usman Yusupov — the leader of Uzbekistan in 1937–1950, for whom the USSR created a Ministry of Cotton Growing, and who after Stalin's death was sent to run a sovkhoz in Boyut. The publication also recalls Yusupov's role in the repressions of 1937.
