Cassation court finally rejects former Ufa mayor Mavliev's bid for reinstatement
The Sixth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction in Samara dismissed Ratmir Mavliev's appeal, refusing to return him to the post of mayor of Ufa. Earlier, the appellate instance overturned the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan's reinstatement ruling. In parallel, the former mayor is a defendant in a criminal bribery case.
