Expert assesses job search timelines in Russia: office specialists — up to five months, top managers — over eight

Skilled workers in shortage areas find a position in about two months. The expert attributed the timelines to an imbalance in the labor market and caution on both sides.

Alexander Vaino, director of the 'Young Professionals' direction at ASI, stated that the Russian labour market will need to replace about 12 million specialists by 2030. In his view, against the backdrop of a difficult demographic situation, labour productivity will become key, and young people should be engaged in real tasks of enterprises as early as the stage of choosing a profession.
