'Psychomanteum' experiment: most participants experienced a sense of the presence of the deceased
Psychologists from Georgia and Missouri left volunteers for 45 minutes under pink noise in a soundproof dark room with a mirrored panel. 24 of the 30 participants reported sensing an invisible presence, touches, familiar smells and silhouettes of deceased loved ones. Most described the experience as positive.
