Ukraine's Operation 'Vivaldi': Ukrainian forces recaptured 277 sq. km in Donbas, but Starlink restrictions raise alarm
A BBC correspondent visited the front-line sector near Lyman, where Ukrainian troops completed the counteroffensive operation 'Vivaldi'. According to Kyiv, 277 sq. km and about 16 settlements have been liberated, with Russian losses estimated at 8,000. Russia does not officially acknowledge the offensive. At the same time, Ukraine reported sudden restrictions on Starshield — the military version of Starlink — which caused serious concern amid cooling relations with the US.
