Britain and Northern European countries to sign maritime defence agreement on 10 November in Oslo
The United Kingdom and nine Northern European countries intend to sign an agreement on expanding military cooperation at sea on 10 November aboard the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales in Oslo. The document will strengthen the existing Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) rather than create a new bloc. The statements were made by the Chief of the Defence Staff of Britain, Richard Knighton.
