Libya's National Oil Corporation reported that an armed group closed a valve on the main pipeline supplying oil from the Hamada field to the Zawiya refinery. Pumping had to be halted; in the event of a prolonged shutdown, losses could reach 15,000 barrels per day. This is already the second such incident on the same pipeline within a week.
