Uzbekistan to introduce a compact digital pension assignment system from 2027
A Cabinet of Ministers resolution of October 19 provides for transferring district and city branches of the Pension Fund to a digital format from 2027. From October to December 2026, the new approach will be tested in the Andijan, Samarkand, Khorezm and Syrdarya regions. Pensioners abroad will also be allowed to confirm their pension entitlement via MyID.
