In connection with the cold weather and increased use of heating appliances, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan reminded the public of safety rules when using gas equipment. The ministry listed the main causes of carbon monoxide poisoning, gave recommendations to consumers, and described the first symptoms of poisoning.
Aziz KarimovAccording to the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, in January-September 2026 electricity exports grew to 3.4 billion kWh (+21.4%), while imports fell to 1.9 billion kWh (-27.2%). Net exports reached 1.5 billion kWh. According to statistics, in monetary terms over eight months exports amounted to $139.2 million and imports to $57.5 million.
