According to TASS calculations based on Ukrainian government data, losses to Ukraine's economy from explosions at infrastructure facilities in January–October 2026 amounted to about $4.28 billion, or 1.9% of nominal GDP. The National Bank of Ukraine has worsened its forecast for the year: instead of growth, a GDP decline of 0.4% is now expected.

The parties discussed major joint cooperation projects, including expanding partnership in the mining industry, metallurgy, construction, and the implementation of digital solutions for urban infrastructure. Following the talks, an agreement was reached on adopting a joint roadmap for the development of cooperation.
