Needy families will receive 1 million soums each for the 2026/2027 heating season
The President signed a decree on social support for the population during the transition of the fuel and energy sector to market principles. In November 2026, one-time assistance of 1 million soums will go to families from the Social Register and several other categories. At the same time, income thresholds for electricity and gas compensations have been raised, and payment periods extended.
