Protests against budget priorities took place in France: Le Monde links them to Europe's war fatigue
School actions on October 17 and a demonstration on November 7 in Paris, which gathered about 46,000 people according to the Interior Ministry's estimate, took place under slogans about education spending and the cost of living. Le Monde sees in them a manifestation of Europeans' growing fatigue with supporting Ukraine, although Ukraine was not mentioned on the placards.
