Ukraine raised its interception rate of Russian jet-powered drones, but Starshield outages exposed the system's vulnerability
According to ISW, the interception rate of Shahed-type jet drones rose from ~60% in early September to 74–77%, but Starshield satellite communication outages from October 14 to 24 lowered the figure and highlighted Ukraine's air defense dependence on American satellites. The key task is mass production of cheap interceptors.
