Independent review announced in the UK into the murder of student Henry Nowak
UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced an independent review into the circumstances of the murder of 18-year-old student Henry Nowak, who was stabbed in Southampton in December 2025. The review will be led by former Lord Chancellor Alex Chalk KC and will take place in two stages; the report is expected in five months.
