Galp and Moeve fail to agree on combining refining and marketing businesses
Portuguese Galp confirmed the collapse of months-long talks on combining its downstream business with Spain's Moeve, owned by Mubadala and Carlyle. According to ECO, the deal was derailed by Paula Amorim's disagreement with the Spanish side's demands. The same day, Galp reported a 68% rise in third-quarter net profit to €682 million.
