Bill Gates: AI could become a pandemic worse than COVID
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said at the Future of AI summit on November 4 that the misuse of AI could lead to a biological incident more severe than the COVID-19 pandemic, which claimed about 15 million lives in 2020–2021. He believes industry self-regulation is ineffective and links the deadlock in international regulation to the White House's inaction.
