Wave of false bomb threats on board: third day of alerts for European flights
On Thursday, at least 14 European flights were targeted by false bomb threats — the third such day this week. Fighter jets from Italy, France and Bulgaria escorted aircraft, three flights diverted to alternate airports, and no explosives were found on any aircraft. More than 20 such incidents have been recorded over the week.
