Uzbekistan approves a new procedure for determining the cost of design and survey work
By a resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan No. 584 of October 21, 2026, a regulation on the procedure for determining the cost of design and survey work was approved. The document introduces phased digitalization of design assignments, a 30% advance, payment for design supervision at 10% of the cost of design and estimate documentation, and prohibits unjustified changes to designs after a positive expert review. From March 1, 2027, a unified approach with standard designs is introduced for budget-funded facilities under targeted programs
