UK to allocate £100 million for world's first AI biosecurity lab
In its budget, the UK government announced the creation of a national AI Biosecurity Lab (AIBL) with £100 million in funding, supported by OpenAI and Anthropic, along with additional spending on cyber defences and the AI Security Institute.
