Death toll from bear attacks in Russia reaches 31 people
According to regional data, 31 people have already fallen victim to bears in Russia. Five of the dead were in Tomsk Region, where a state of heightened readiness has been declared. The reasons cited for the rise in incidents are population growth and the poor wild harvest of 2026.
