Argentine biochemist arrested for six-year captivity of his family
In the Argentine province of Chubut, biochemist Miguel Edgardo Battista has been arrested on charges of holding his wife and three children in a house for six years. Neighbors called the police over the children's absence from school and screams. During a search, the victims were found in grave condition; the defense claims the family's seclusion was voluntary due to threats.
