Former Emergency Situations Minister of Krasnodar Krai sentenced to 6.5 years in colony for derailing an auction
The Pervomaysky District Court of Krasnodar sentenced former Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of Krasnodar Krai Sergei Shtrikov to six and a half years in a general-regime penal colony for abuse of official powers. He was stripped of the rank of police major and ordered to pay more than 14 million rubles to the company that lost the contract.
